Pirate glass pendant necklace. A flawless, ‘chunky’ piece of genuine, antique, surf tumbled, black sea glass, top drilled to accept a sterling silver ‘rabbit ears’ finding, finished with a 2mm waxed cotton cord and fully adjustable sliding knot. Black in natural light, the piece is a dark olive green when backlit with a bright light which also shows the air bubbles within the glass that indicate it was originally hand blown, most likely in the 1800’s Collected from the small town of St.Pierre, Martinique, French West Indies. All of the sea glass featured in this eBay store was gathered for a private collection over a 10 year period whilst we were cruising the Eastern Caribbean Islands aboard our sailboat (2014-2024).
